Voltage distribution calculation and analysis of insulator strings on 330 kV transmission line based on sub-model method

The voltage distribution of insulator strings on 330 kV transmission line are calculated with the sub-model method.Concrete structure of iron tower and mutual influence among three-phase voltage are considered in calculation.The measured data show that the calculation method is available. The method can be applied to analyze the cause and principle of power frequency flashover of insulator strings on 330 kV transmission line;and it is also available in making the preventing measures for operation security of transmission line.
