Nonlinear simulation analysis of seal component of high pressure gate

According to the working characteristic of seal component used in high pressure gate,the paper has made nonlinear finite element analysis using the modified Mooney-Rivlin model,and compared stress-distortion pattern and viscoelasticity changes characteristics in working process of seal components which have different material qualities.The simulation results show that in sealing design we'd better chosen the seal component which can sealing more effectively such as those seal components which have lower hardness,more deformability and lager contact stress.The calculation results provide some scientific basis for practical engineering problem and provide a useful reference for the design in similar projects.
