Study of rutting resistance of rigid pavement construction inYangtze River Tunnel

Based on the national 863 research project,Structure Design and Paving Technology of Anti-skidding Flame-retarded Noise-reducing Asphalt Pavement,the rutting resistance between asphalt pavement materials AFNA-13 and SMA-13 is analyzed with HWTD of test method;and the rutting resistances of the two different materials are compared.The result is that the rutting resistance of the AFNA-13 is superior to the SMA-13 under the same condition.According to the finite element simulating calculation,the rutting resistances of different surface layers are calculated;and the most optimum pavement combination is selected;and the conclusion is drawn that the thickness of the top layer is the main reason to the rutting.The pavement structure of the Yangtze River Tunnel is super to the rutting resistance.
