Network traffic flow evolutionary model considering new origin-destination demand under traffic guidance

The paper investigates the dynamical behavior of urban network traffic flow.In the evolution process of traffic flow in the urban network,travelers adjust the day-to-day route choice.Assuming that origin-destination(OD) demand and path flow are influenced by the OD travel costs,considering the route choice mode of new travelers under traffic guidance,a modified discrete traffic flow evolution model is proposed.The final traffic flow state as the fixed point of the model is analysed.The model can better formulate the adjustment process of traffic flow.Finally,a numerical example demonstrates the stability of the model.
