Influence mechanism of late temperature stress of high arch dam caused by damage of cooling water pipe

There need for consolidation grouting in the construction of high arch dam.There are two types of grouting:consolidation grouting with weight,consolidation grouting without weight.For consolidation grouting with weight,drilling is easy to damage the cooling water pipe.The damage of cooling water pipe has great impact on the late concrete temperature stress.The heat-fluid coupling finite element method is used to simulate the temperature stress of concrete during the construction period.The results show that due to the damage of water pipe,water cooling for the concrete dam is interrupted.So the temperature of concrete showed different degrees of recovery or slow cooling in a longer period.The high arch dam needs joint grouting when the concrete reaches a certain age.At this time,the concrete temperature is still high;so the quality of joint grouting is badly affected.If we do closure grouting at a high temperature,the inside of dam will produce relatively large temperature residual stress when the dam meet the temperature drop condition in operating period.
