Interference alignment-based resource allocation for D2D communications

An interference alignment(IA)based power allocation algorithm(IA-PA)is proposed for device-to-device(D2D)communications underlaying cellular systems.The interferences of k D2D pairs are suppressed by using the interference alignment method;and the existence of IA solution to IA is illustrated.An optimal power allocation algorithm(IA-PA)based on IA is developed for cellular and D2D hybrid networks.Our developed power allocation algorithm improves the degrees of freedom(DOF)by(k-1)/2times as compared with the traditional cellular networks.Simulation results show that our developed algorithm can suppress the interference between the D2D and cellular networks and obtain the higher sum rate than other power allocation algorithm.
