Investigation of the cognizance to the rules of hygiene license for factory dining room

Objectives: To investigate the degree of the cognizance to the system of hygiene license for factory dining room and lay down the basis for establishment of hygiene inspection and management rules. Method: Random samples were taken from sixty dining rooms with various characteristics. The questionnaires were designed before hand and were used during investigation. Results: 470 questionnaires were distributed with valid callback rate of 92.77%. 379 out of 436 (86.93%) subjects agreed to the license rules, while 57 did not. 290 people think the inspection before issuing license significantly improved the hygiene situation of factory dining rooms, 112 people think the changes were insignificant, 6 people think the rules were ineffective, 29 people replied with no idea; 304 people think routine inspection can improve the hygiene situation significantly, 106 insignificant, 14 ineffective, and 12 no idea. The results suggested that the hygiene license system may be the best mode for hygiene inpection and management in factory dining room.
