Comparation of Probit-parallel Line Assay Methods With the Routine Methods in the Biostatistics of Several Vaccines Potency Test Date

The bioassay results of potency tests from 30 batches of Hepatitis B,34 of Rabes and 30 of pertussis vaccines attained by probit-parallel line assay methods ( P-P)provided by a computer software and the comparation with Reed-Muench ( R-M ) and Wilson-worcester(W-W) methods were reported in this paper: ( 1 ) the qualified rate in these vaccines is 83.3%, 82.3%and 83.3% separately with P-P methods and indicated that P-P is effective to judge retest vaccines, ( 2 )P-P results were appeared equivalent to R-M or W-W with the comform judgement rate of 80%, 79.4% and 76.6%in these three vaccines and more scientific than the last two methods and ( 3 ) with P-P it was showed that some of these vaccines potency values have too wide 95% confidence intervals which involved individual differance of experimental animals of operation errors so the quality of animals and operations shoud be controled strictly and the normal confidence intervals of potency shoud be determinated futher.
