Sero-epidemiological research of infective status of Hepatitis B virus among people aged 1-59 years old in Gansu Province

In order to understand the present status of hepatitis B virus infection in Gansu Province,and analyzed the change of serological indicators of hepatitis B virus infection to provide basis for hepatitis B prevention and control in future.Total 2200 persons aged 1-59 were investigated with multi-stage cluster sampling method from 5 counties,and HBsAg,anti-HBs,anti-HBc were tested with ELISA.The results showed that HBsAg,anti-HBs and anti-HBc positive rate is 3.59%,49.45% and 16.33% respectively in person aged 1-59 years old in Gansu Province;HBV infective rate is 27.50%.Compared with that of 1992,HBV infective rate decreased by 36.48%,HBsAg positive rate decreased by 45.94%;HBsAg positive rate of children aged 1-4 years old is 1.13%,decreased by 78.84%.HBV infective rate of person aged 1-59 years old decreased and anti-HBs positive rate increases in Gansu Province,especially in children age 1-4 years old;HBV infection in Gansu Province has a trend from moderate and high degree to low degree prevalence,and it has achieve remarkable efficiency of hepatitis B vaccination
