Troubleshooting for initial starting fault of vibroseis in cold region

In very cold season,diesel engines on all engineering machinery stored in the field have difficulty in initial starting every morning.For the vibroseis,this problem becomes more serious.Whenever the vibrators are delivered to the cold areas,it needed at least three or four hours to start the engine.During field operation,it also needed very long time to warm up the engine and the hydraulic system.Most of the time,the engine and hydraulic system will operate in low temperature which is very harmful to the engine and hydraulic system.So,the problems of the engine start and the system warm up have been disturbing the normal operation in cold regions for years.In this article these problem are analyzed in detail and the authors provide several ways to solve them.Integrating application of these methods can assist the vibrator starting quickly and instantly warming up.Also these methods can keep the engine and hydraulic system working in normal temperature or even in extremely cold weather.So we can get benefits of long life of vibrators,furthermore high efficiency and high quality of geophysical exploration can be achieved.
