One of the utilization of impedance to check geophone tilt

Shang Yongsheng,Hou Fudou,Guo Shanli,Zheng Wei and Huang Qian.  
Node connected with geophone is used for seismic receiving in overseas vibroseis ISSN 3D project.The node is unlike the cable seismic recording system which can test the tilt of geophone to monitor the planting quality.One kind of method to check the tilt condition is introduced through analyzing the geophone impedance value which recorded by the node test equipment(Line viewer).A tilt model is built which corresponding to the different impedance values.The impedance value vary with the temperature is tested as well during tilt modeling so as to the thresholds are defined for the field production.An actual example is shown for the method application.
