Modal Algorithm of Corrugated Horns with Axial Slots

Corrugated horns with axial slots are one kind of horns with the merits of excellent radiation performance, compact structure, convenience to machine, low cost, etc.In this paper, an algorithm is presented to compute the radiation performance .The inner-field is analyzed using modal matching theory and the aperture reflection is computed by spectral domain approach.At last the radiation pattern is given through aperture field integral.The comparison of computation results with experimental ones indicates that it is a simple and practical method with clear conception.
