A CALCULATING METHOD ABOUT the ELASTIC RUBBER BEARING USED in CENTRIFUGE
In this paper, the rubber bearing in the form of hollow circular cylinderis transferredintoa cuboid rubber element by using conformal transformation. The force acted is calculated to make the inner surface of rubber a unit displacement in the direction of force. This force value is just the radial stiffness of rubber bearing. The incompressibility of rubber material has been considered. The result of the example shows that this method is sufficiently accurate. The hypothesis in the derivation of formula and the condition under which this formula is valid are given. Some questions are discussed in the last part of the paper.
