A Cyclic Analysis on Steel Plates with Damage

Based on the constitutive relation model of constructional steel with elasto- plastic anisotropic damage, the authors analyzed the hysteretic characte ristics of steel plates with four sides pinned by way of double nonlinear shell FEM, and advanced proposals on the width-thickness ratio of the steel plates reg ulated in GBJ17-88.
