Mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway and epithelial-mesenchymal transition

Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) signaling pathway is a common pathway for nuclear reaction stimulated by extracellular signals.It is the intracellular signaling molecules that mediate the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).Many signaling molecules can mediate the occurrence of EMT through the MAPK signaling pathway.Further exploring the molecular mechanisms between the MAPK signaling pathway and EMT will help to better understand the pathogenesis for the development of EMT and disease,and will provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of the disease.
