Progress of gene therapy in hepatitis C by RNAi

RNA interference (RNAi) is an phenomenon in which small interfering RNA (siRNA) degrades the target RNA molecule in a sequence-specific manner to silence the gene expression.In recent years,RNAi is the focus in the gene therapy for hepatitis C.The siRNA is effective in inhibiting virus replication and protein expression,but there are many difficulties in clinic therapy for hepatitis C by RNAi.
