Abnormality of DNA methylation modification and lung cancer

DNA methylation is one of the important contents in epigenetics research and it is closely related to the occurrence and the development of various tumors.Recent research found that the hypermethylation of lung cancer-related genes and the abnormal expression of methyltransferase were closely related to the occurrence of lung cancer.Understanding the role of the abnormal DNA methylation in lung cancer pathogenesis is beneficial to early prevention and diagnosis as well as the improvement of prognosis for diseases.
