The Equivalency of the Inertial Mass and the Gravitational Mass Needs Further Cognition

The equivalency of the inertial mass and the gravitational mass is an important prerequisite to the postulate for general relativity. These two kinds of mass are not strictly distinguished inciassical mechanics only because their equivalency has always been granted. For a long time, therefore, lots of experimental work has carefully been done for its test and verification and the satisfactory outcome has been brought about. According to the author of this thesis, all the testing and verifying work has nothing to do the nature and the inertial connections of the two kinds of mass, and many preblems, especially those appear in the case of relativity, are to be further cognized. The thesis, as well, introduced and discussed the works done by D. W. Olson and Ephraim Fischbach separately.
