NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DEFLECTION FIELD IN A SEGMENTED S T YOKE OF HIGH RESOLUTION CDT

In this paper the numerical calculation and analysis of the magnetic field in a Saddle-Toroidal Deflection Yok(S-TDY ) with segmented windings have been carried out using the6oundarv element method in combination with the finite element method .A mathematic mod-el of winding distribution for the segmented S-TDY has been established,and the deflec-tion field of the segmented S.TDY used in a 51cm high-resolution Color Display Tube(CDT)has been calculated with the above model.The measurement of the deflection fieldparameters indicates that the calculated results are in good agreement with measured data.
