Research on Natural Frequency Characteristics of Horizontal Layered Soils on Half Space

On the basis of traditional shear particle system method(lumped mass method),a new shear particle system method based on consistent mass matrix(consistent mass method) was developed.Then,natural frequency characteristics of horizontal layered soils were analyzed with shear particle system method.The distribution of soil layer shear modulus and thickness and the total thickness of soil layers were considered and the influencing law was summarized.At the same time,the problem of computing thickness was considered.The analysis results show that the conclusions have practical meanings to field earthquake analysis,structure earthquake-resistance and apply of shear particle system method.
