Static Elasto-plastic Analysis of Concrete-filled Square Tubular Column to Steel Beam Frame Structure with Reduced Beam Section

The equivalent form of reduced beam section which was fit to SAP2000 analysis design software was presented.Both conventional earthquake and rare earthquake under 7 and 8 seismic intensity Push-over analysis of the structure were made to assess the seismic behavior of concrete-filled square tubular column to steel beams multistory and high-rise frame structure with reduced beam section.The results show that the reduced beam section has little influence on stiffness of the multistory frame structure.The stiffness of model of considering influence of RC floor slab is bigger than that of non-considering influence RC floor slab.The base shearing force of model under uniform lateral load is higher than that of model under inverted triangle lateral load.As for high-rise building,there is little effect of RC floor slab on structure stiffness in elastic stage.The maximal base shearing forces of considering the model of influence of RC floor slab under uniform lateral load and inverted triangle lateral load are bigger than that of non-considering the model of influence of RC floor slab about 7% and 4.5% respectively.The concrete-filled square tubular column to steel beam frame structure with reduced beam section has good seismic behavior.
