The percentages of oil content in seeds, fruits,fruit dregs and suspended substances in fruit juices of several species of sea-buckthorn (Hip-pophea spp.) from Northwestern China were determined. The physico-chem cal prapecties of these oils as well as their fatty acids composition and bio-active principles were also camparatively studied. These basic data may be evidenced as refences in extraction, refining and exploitation of utilization sea-buckthorn oils
