USING ISOTOPE TRACER ~(32)P ANE ~(86)Rb TO STUDY THE WITHE'S BROOM OF PAULOWNIA
Yang Jun-xiu (Dept. of Forest Resources Conservation)
A study by using isotope tracer 32P and 36Rb on shoots diseased by witche's broom of Paulownia was carried out. Simultaneously, experri-ments were also carried on normal 1 year old seedlings of 5 species of Paulownia. The results shows that the resistant species such as Paulow?nia tomentosa var. pallida absorb more K and less P, and the susceptible species such as Paulownia longata absorb more P and less K from soil.
