Strategic recommendations for AIDS prevention and control among the Chinese female population

Since the first AIDS case was detected in China in 1985, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has gradually spread and the number of HIV infectors among females in this country have been increasing year after year, and as a result the HIV epidemic has produced significant impact on women 's health. This paper aims to elaborate in depth problems and weakness faced by AID prevention and control among females by analyzing HIV epidemic states among them and the reason why women are more vulnerable to HIV/AIDS, and to make suggestions on strengthening effective interventions and public education according to their physiological and psychological features. It would be essential to extensively conduct legalilty education and skill training and assistance among women and explore innovative interventions to change men's sex conception and behaviors, so as to eventually reduce the risk to HIV/AIDS among females.
