Rapid determination of loganin in Qijudihuang Pills by near-infrared spectroscopy technique

Objective To establish a rapid analytical method for loganin in Qijudihuang Pills(condensed)by near-infrared spectroscopy technique(NIR).Methods The content of loganin was determined by HPLC.NIR spectra of 113 samples were collected by NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.The partial least square(PLS)calibration models were built with loganin content values as a reference.Results The correlation coefficient of the PLS calibration models of NIR spectroscopy for moisture was 0.998 8,and the root-mean-square error of cross-validation was 0.093 4.The correlation between the reference value of the testing sample set and the near infrared predictive value was 0.986 7,and the root-mean-square error of prediction was 0.084 9.Conclusion The method is rapid,nondestructive and accurate,and can be applied to the fast determination of loganin in Qijudihuang Pills.
