Application of Altitude Measurement in VHF Radar Based on ADSP

XIA Meng,ZHAO Yongbo(National Key Lab of Radar Signal Processing,Xidian University,Xi′an,710071,China)  
The paper analyses a new temporal-spatial sequential Maximum Likelihood algorithm,uses the elevation angle between direct and specular signals,this algorithm do one-dimensional search on likelihood function rather than two-dimensional,as a result has a low computation complexity.With AD corporation′s high floating-point performence DSP,algorithm and ALTERA′s FPGA has an excellent performance on engineering application.Practical circuit meets the command and the whole system works well.
