Shield end reinforcement and shield receiving technology in pebble and silty-fine sand compound stratum

The effect of conventional reinforcement in the sand pebble formation with silty-fine sand is poor, and it is easy to have local collapse accidents. Based on the construction conditions of 2 shield tunneling sections in DH and HX of Beijing metro line 8, this paper discusses that under the condition of rich in fine sand stratum in the upper part of the portal and portal area, on the foundation of the reinforcement of conventional ground surface jet grouting piles(or static pressure grouting), technical measures are recommended to strengthen the stratum strengthening, adjust the construction technologies in the shield launching and receiving in the process, and strengthen the auxiliary reinforcement measures.
