Research on the load measurement of aircraft landing gear compartment door based on the strain method

It directly affects the safety of aircraft flight that whether the landing gear door can be normally extended and retracted and its extension and retraction capacity. The real load of the compartment door can't be obtained through the theoretical calculation and wind tunnel test. The results of theoretical calculation and wind tunnel test must be modified by flight test to optimize the design of the compartment door. Taking the load measurement of an aircraft landing gear compartment door as an example,the compartment door load was measured and analyzed by flight based on the strain method. Data support was provided for optimization design of landing gear door and its extension and retraction. The test result showed that the method can be applied to the measurement of the rod load of the compartment door effectively.
