A research for deploy dynamics of a satellite deloyable antenna

According to the charactristic of large fiexiblity for satellite deployable antennas, this paper, based upon finite element and Lagrangian methods, develops the differential equa- tion or motion for satellite deployable antennas on the basis of the comprehensive consid- eration of the effect of distributed parameters, lumped parameters and Friction forces on the dynamic characteristic of antennas and rigorously according to the principle of kinematics. The deploy dynamic response of the antenna is determined by using the approved iterative mode superposition method and some key problems about the dynamic analysis of anten- nas are discussed.
