The application of the FDTD method to the cylindrical wave and loss flat half space scattering problem

Li Qingliang Ge Debiao Shi Shouyuan (Dept. of Physics, Xidian Univ., Xian, 710071)  
In the case of a cylindrical wave incident and half space problem, a wave front marching on in time scheme is presented for introducing the incident field into the FDTD computation domain. A general formula suitable for extrapolation of near to far field is also presented. Some results demonstrate the feasibility of the methods presented.
