A matched compensation circuit for increase in modulation bandwidth of semiconductor lasers

An important factor limiting the modulation bnadwidth of a semiconductor laser is its high frequency circuit parameters. A matched compensation circuit is designed to reduce the effects of these circuit parameters and to realize impedance match between a signal source and a semiconductor laser. Theoretical analyses and experiments show that the modulation frerquency and bandwidth can be increased greatly.
