Voronoi diagrams for arbitrary planar shapes

Based on Offset of the C 1 continuous curves to compute Voronoi Diagrams for arbitrary planar shapes a new method is presented. With the combination of differential properties and geometrical characteristics of a given 2 D region, the Voronoi Diagrams are obtained conveniently. This method can be applied to planar graphs will all kinds of boundary and number of holes. Its algorithm could be also extended to the problem with higher dimensions.
