SIMULTANEOUS DETERMINATION OF AZIMSULFURON,FLAZASULFURON AND HALOSULFURON-METHYL IN CEREAL GRAINS BY HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY

A method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 3 sulfonylurea herbicides,Azimsulfuron,Flazasulfuron and Halosul-furon-methyl in cereal grain by liquid chromatography and confirmed by LC/MS.The samples were extracted with acetone and ethyl acetate and cleaned up using Sep-Pak Plus Alumina N and Bond Elut SAX cartridge columns.The recoveries of the 3 sulfonyl-urea herbicides from unpolished rice and corn ranged from 75.6% to 106.4% following fortification at 0.05-0.5μg/g.The detection limits were 0.01μg/g for azimsulfuron and halosulfuron-methyl,and 0.02μg/g for flazasulfuron.
