Study on Sb-doped SnO_2 Nanoparticles by Hydrothermal Synthesis

Sb- doped SnO2nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis using SnCl4· 5H2O and SbCl3 as starting materials. The characteristics of the nanoparticles were investigated by DTA- TG, XRD, TEM, FT- IR. XRD shows that the size of the nanoparticles is 4 nm, and the crystallite size increases while the surface areas decrease with the increase of hot treatment temperature; TEM reveals that the nanoparticles are monodispersed.
