Dysphagia Caused by Thoracic Aorta:Correlative Study of Clinic and X-ray

Purpose:The arteriosclerosis and circuity of thoracic aorta will press the oesophagus and causes dysphagia.In this study,we will analyse the X-ray character of the dysphagia caused by thoracic aorta.Materials and Methods:We studied the clinical and X ray data of 53 patients with dysphgia caused by thoracic aorta.Results:In 53 cases,the oesophagus was pressed at the position where it went through the descending aorta from right to left front.The x ray showed that the cavity of the oesophagus being pressed was stenosis and contorted,and the oesophagus was shifted to the right front or left front.Conclusion:The symptom of dysphagia is caused by the pressure of the descending aorta and the dysfunction of the oesophagus itself.
