Application of High-Frequency Ultrasonography and Color Doppler in Detecting Deep Venous Valvular Incompetence of Lower Extremity

Purpose:To study deep venous valvular incompetence of lower extremity by using high-frequency ultrasonography and color doppler.Materials and Methods:63 patients with 85 lower limbs and 41 mormal ones were studyed by using HFU and color Doppler,to detect the internal diameter and the color reflux signal in common femoral vein (CFV)、suprficial femoral vein (SFV)、deep femoral vein (DFV) and popliteal rein (PPV).With evoking reflux by Valsalva method and limb compression maneurer.Results:Increased deep venous diameter and reflux signal were found in patients with DVVI.Especially when tested by valsalva method and compression maneuver.The increased diameter and blood reflux had shown significant differences between the reflux group and the control group (P0 05).Conclusion:high-frequency Ultrasonography and color Doppler might be used to detect the position and reflux extent of DVVI of lower limb、to determine the position and way of operation and to observe the curative effect as well.
