Study on the Lipid-Lowering Effect of Simvastatin in the Treatment of Hypercholesterolemia

Niu Junjuan;Twelve worker's Hospital of Pingdingshan coal industry Medical Group of Henan Province;
Objective: To investigate the lipid-lowering effect of simvastatin in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia. Methods: From January 2009 to December 2016,204 patients with hypercholesterolemia in our hospital were selected. They were divided into the observation group and the control group( n = 102),according to the random drawing principle. The control group was treated with isosorbide mononitrate,and the observation group was treated with simvastatin on the basis of the treatment of the control group. The two groups were treated continuously for 3 months. Results: After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group and the control group was 98. 0% and 78. 4%,respectively,and the observation group was better than that of the control group( P 0. 05). After treatment,the TC content of the observation group and the control group was 4. 36 ± 0. 67 mmol/L and 5. 33 ± 0. 71 mmol/L,all lower than 6. 78 ± 0. 89 mmol/L and 6. 81± 0. 91 mmol/L before the treatment( P 0. 05). After treatment,the content of TC in the observation group was lower than that in the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Simvastatin in the treatment of hypercholesterolemia can play a very good lipid-lowering effect,promote cholesterol content reduction,improve treatment effect. It is worthy of clinical application.
