Study on diffusion and secondary damage of aerosol fire-extinguishing agent based on potassium salts

Aerosol fire-extinguishing agent based on potassium salts is considered a practical alternative to halons.In this paper,the optimal formula of aerosol fire-extinguishing agent based on potassium salts was explored by orthogonal experimental of diffused fire suppression.Secondary damage of aerosol fire-extinguishing agent based on potassium salts including acid-base properties,electric insulation and corrosive were examined.The solid particles deposition which aerosol fire-extinguishing agent based on potassium salts generated presented weak alkaline in aqueous solution.The insulation level of the deposition in the white PVC board was lower than secondary level.The corrosion resistance of copper in the title aerosol belongs to the still corrosion resistance class.
