Smoke control analysis of UTLT applied full transverse ventilation system

The design situation of urban traffic link tunnel(UTLT)was count up,the fire facility and design requirement were introduced,and the influencing factors of smoke control strategy applied full transverse ventilation system were analyzed.For an UTLT in Beijing,which has full transverse ventilation system, the main tunnel was divided into 13smoke zones with 500 mm smoke-proof pendant wall based on the setting of smoke exhaust fan.The FDS was used to simulate smoke spread state in different ventilation methods,and security of evacuation was also studied.Based on research results,some advises of smoke control strategy of UTLT was put forward.It was suggested that the length of smoke zone in main tunnel should less than 150m.
