Studies on pedestrian evacuation simulation and influencing factors for limited visibility,,

Using the theory of cellular automata,the evacuation model for limited visibility is proposed.And the competition repulsion among pedestrians is expressed in the model.The simulation results show that evacuation evolution can be simulated using the proposed model;evacuation time gradually decreases with the increase of vision distance and exit width considering the competition repulsion.The exit-using efficiency increases with the visible distance;on the contrary,the exit-using efficiency decreases with the exit width.It is be found that the competition repulsion can delay the evacuation process and the problem can be solved by the method of pedestrians shunting.
