The kinetic characteristics of rapid filling method of fire gas cylinders

In warship,the fire cylinder must be filled rapidly and safely to 30 MPa at fire gas filling station.The related characteristics of cylinder in filling process are affected by the different filling method.Based on the laws of thermodynamics,the filling process of direct filling mode and hybrid filling mode were analyzed.Two filling method were compared each other at the filling volume,filing time,entropy generation and gas consumption,etc.,and the filling method was optimized,through the combination of experiment and simulation.Fire cylinder that was filled rapidly and safety was achieved,and the use efficiency of fire gas filling station was improved.The results show that,by using the hybrid multilevel pressure filling method,the temperature rise effect was weakened,filling mass could be increased by 4%,the entropy generation could be reduced by53%and gas consumption could be reduced by 14%.
