Zhou Longshu; Li Mengda(General hospital of Guangzhou command,Guangzhou,510010)(Cancer Hospital of Shan Yixian Medical Unirersity, Guangzhou 510060)
30 patients with ovarian malignant tumors and 18 patients with gynecological benign diseases were selected,Tbe effects of their .ascitic fluids on the activity of NK cells and lymphoproliferation were identilied,The result showed that the ascitic tluids from ovarian malignant tumors had immunosuppressive effects, and immunosuppressive rate was not relatied to the histological types and the differential degres of the tumors, but in was related to the size of the tumor volume. The bigger the tumor volume was. the higher the suppressive rate of the ascitic fluids was. It suggested that there was an immunosuppressive substance-immunosuppressive tactor in the ascitic fluids from ovarian malignant malignant tumors. It was possible that this factor was produced by tumor cells, this factor was one of the important causes leading to low im mune function and peritoneal metastases.
