During the Period from 1978 to 1993, 1765 patients with primary malignant tumor of the fernale reproductive tract were ad-mitted to Tongji hospital. Eight of them were diagnosed as mutiple primary malignant tumor (MPC) of the female reproductive tract, accord-ing to clinical and Pathological material. By systemic analysis, the results shOwed that: In the primary malignant tumors of the female repro-ductive tract, the rate of MPC was 0. 45 %, and 50% of them involved the ovaries and the uterine corpora simultansously. Pathologically, the majority of upper reproductive tract tumos were adenocarcinomas, while the majority of lower reproductive tract tumors were squamous cell carcinomas. After treatment, the prognosis of patient of MPC was favourable. The diagnostic criterion and methods were also discussed in this paper. Until now. pathology examination was still the main rnethed to dignose MPC. Flow cytometric DNA-ploidy analysis and imrnunohis-tochemical stains were useful to diagnosis, but they were limited because of the overlapping phenornenon.
