(Purpose) To investigate the significance of C-erbB-2,p21 and PCNA in lung cancer. (Methods) C-erbB-2 , p21 and PCNA were measured by immunohistological staining in surgical specimens trom 50 patients with lung cancer. (Results) The positive rates 0f expressions of C-erbB-2,p21 and PCNA were 34. 00%, 44. 00% and 94. 00% respectively. Overexpressions of CerbB-2,p21 were related to poor differentiation,, Ⅲ~ Ⅳ types of lung cancer as well as lymphnodes metastasis(P＜0. 05, P＜0.01 ). The expression of PCNA was correlated with the histohecal type and differentiation. (Conclusions) Elevated expressions of C-erbB-2,p21 and PCNA may provide important biological markers for determing prognosis and providing guidance for treatment.
