Short-term Efficacy of NVB Containing Regimen in Treatment for Advanced Breast Cancer

urpose〕To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity of breast cancers.〔Methods〕Thirty four patients with advanced breast cancer were treated with NA(E)or NP regimens.〔Results〕Overall response rate was 58.8%(20/34),included CR 14.7%(5/34). The median survival duration was 14 months.The response rates were 77.8%(7/9) and 52.0%(13/25) for initial treated patients and previous treated patients, respectively. In 25 previous treated cases,response rate was 52.0%(13/25).In 14 adriamycin resistant patients treated with NP regimens, response rate reached 42.9%(6/14). The main toxicities were myelosuppresion,phlebitis and nausea/vomiting.〔Conclusion〕NVB containing regimens are well tolerated with better efficacy in initial treated or previous treated cancer.It may be used as second line regimen for the treatment of advanced breast cancer.
