ADM Liposome Therapy in the Treatment of Forty-five Patients with Advanced Liver Cancer

urpose〕To compare the survival rate and side effect of doxorubicin (ADM) liposome therapy and ADM therapy for liver cancer.〔Methods〕Eighty seven patients with advanced liver cancer were divided into two groups:Group A treated by ADM liposome chemotherapy and group B, by ADM chemotherapy.〔Results〕The mean survival and 1 year survival rate showed no significant difference in both groups.However,patients in Group A showed better short term effect and less side effects than those in Group B.〔Conclusion〕ADM Liposome chemotherapy can increase the short term effect,reduce side effect and improve patient's quality of life.
