WANG Xiao-qun,ZHANG Xing-rong (Shanghai Institute of Technology,Shanghai 200235,China)
The principal component analysis(PCA) can recombine the original indexes to form uncorrelated comprehensive indexes and use a few of comprehensive indexes to reveal the information of original indexes over 85%.The safety evaluation was carried out with this method for some chemical factory. With each work sections in the process of PVC synthesis as a sample, the relevant indexes were collected to establish evaluation system, calculate the comprehensive expression, sort the results, and then show the situation of production safety, which is helpful to take effective prevention measures.
