Research on the Influence of University Students' Indoor Environment on Subjective Well-being,School-like Sense of Association and Interpersonal Communication

Objective This article explores the influence of college students' living environment on their psychological status from the perspective of environmental psychology; Methods 288 college students participated this experiment which explored the effects of university students' indoor environment on subjective well-being,school-like sense of association and interpersonal communication; Results( 1) The sense of crowding had a significant influence on college students' sense of belonging( F( 1,92)= 2. 90,P 0. 05). The sense of school belonging( M = 78. 30)of college students living in a relatively dense dormitory environment was significantly greater than that of students. In the relatively low dormitory environment( M = 73. 26);( 2) The interaction between indoor greening conditions and gender in interpersonal interaction was significant( F( 1,1)= 5. 84,P 0. 05),and the average number of boys in the greening environment group( M = 7. 29) is significantly smaller than the average number of female greenery groups( M = 9. 04);( 3) the interaction between creative environment and gender is significant in school sense of belonging( F( 1,1)= 7. 45,P 0. 01),The average number of boys in the creative environment group( M = 83. 21) was significantly greater than the average number of girls in the creative environment group( M = 80. 67). Conclusion A certain density of living environment can enhance students' sense of belonging to the school; living in a green environment,boys have fewer problems with interpersonal relationships; creative environments can increase boys ' sense of school belonging.
