Issues in designing and developing CALL software: a case study of a vocabulary improving software Sun Shumin

Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is a relatively new and rapidly evolving academic field in which information and communication technologies plays a great role. Research findings on CALL have been largely positive. With personal instructor, the student can proceed at his or her own pace. This paper discusses issues that should be addressed in CALL software designing and developing through the case study of a vocabulary improving software.
