The Problems in College English Instruction and Strategies for Its Improvement——Based on a Perspective of Integrating IT into Curriculum

The problems with College English instruction in universities and colleges of mainland China has been criticized and identified as"inefficient and time-consuming",which fails to fit in with the English language competence requirements for university graduates as demanded by the globalization of world economy.The integration of IT into College English course is an effective strategy for the improvement of College English instruction.The integration and utilization of IT into College English instruction not only changes the traditional,conservative mode of College English instruction,but also raises the efficiency of College English instruction.
